Detailed specifications:
Bearing capacity: 400–600 kN (manufactured according to European standard EN124).
Materials: Ductile iron;
Features:
- The well frame’s unique design ensures it doesn’t sit directly on the well opening—but instead becomes an integral part of the road surface. This allows the road base to absorb most of the pressure that would otherwise be borne by the manhole cover itself. As a result, under external forces, the well frame rises and falls along with the pavement, ensuring the road surface remains perfectly level at all times.
- The special self-locking spring prevents the manhole cover from bouncing, while the shock-absorbing rubber ring eliminates vibrations and minimizes noise. Ideal for use on highways, urban roads, national highways, and other similar road sections.
The new type of ductile iron anti-theft manhole cover is made from high-quality nodular cast iron pig iron, coke, and a specialized spheroidalizing agent sourced exclusively from designated production facilities. The spheroidalization grade is carefully controlled within the range of Grade 1 to Grade 2, ensuring a refined appearance that closely matches the color of the asphalt pavement—allowing the concrete well ring to remain discreetly hidden beneath the surface. This design not only maintains seamless integration with the road surface but also enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the city by creating a unified, visually pleasing landscape. In contrast, traditional gray cast iron manhole covers, with their dull, unattractive appearance and rough texture, necessitate exposing the concrete well ring above the asphalt layer. Their mismatched color and inconsistent surface finish make it challenging to achieve smooth alignment with the road, posing a significant obstacle to urban beautification efforts.
The new type of ductile iron anti-theft manhole cover features a raised design, achieved by inserting a chlorinated polyether gasket into the mating surface between the frame and the lid. This enhanced the depth of the frame-to-lid fit, ensuring a tight seal through six-point contact, complemented by the use of hinges. Additionally, secure bolt latches and an anti-theft locking mechanism have been integrated, effectively eliminating unwanted noise, reducing vibrations, and virtually preventing the common issue seen in conventional gray iron manhole covers—where the lids rattle or even get dislodged entirely when struck by vehicles.
The product features anti-theft and anti-shock alarm functions, and can rotate dramatically when activated. Its quality, performance, load-bearing capacity, reliability, and safety have all reached internationally advanced levels. Overseas, the product is primarily sold to countries such as South Korea, Japan, Italy, the UK, Germany, and the United States.
